At Pepper Hill School we teach Music using the Music Express Scheme in line with the New National Curriculum. In their music activities children are encouraged to develop listening skills and to discriminate between varying sounds and musical elements e.g. high/low, long/short, etc. These activities help children to develop a critical awareness and appreciation of music through participation in both expressive and creative elements. The school provides a structured approach to music which meets the National Curriculum requirements. Children use a wide range of percussion instruments both tuned and unturned.
