On behalf of all staff and governors, may I take this opportunity to welcome you to Pepper Hill School. We are a happy, friendly and caring school and we are always delighted to welcome visitors and show them around. Our broad and balanced curriculum is innovative, creative and fun and is taught through exciting projects that underpin our learning values.
We are extremely PROUD of our recent Ofsted Inspection in November 2018 where we were graded as a "good" school. The Ofsted report states, "Pepper Hill School is a nurturing and welcoming school in which pupils flourish and learn well together".
Our Infant school is a two form entry with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes in a spacious, bright and well-resourced learning environment. We also have a nursery provision for children aged 3 and above. We provide a wide range of learning opportunities and challenges for all our children, whatever their abilities. We want children to value their own achievements, both personal and academic and to celebrate the success of others. Alongside the core subjects, we have a wide range of learning opportunities and extra-curricular activities to offer our pupils from netball to multi-skills. We were proud to be awarded Arts Mark Gold in 2018 in recognition of our commitment to art, music and drama.
Your child's education is important to you and to us. We are a learning community, working in an atmosphere of care, trust and respect, where children feel nurtured, valued and supported by one another.
Since federating with Stanton School in May 2014, our aspirational vision to improve the education for all is very well realised through the school federation. There are many common approaches between the federated schools which helps pupils to continue their learning seamlessly as they move to junior school.
